Ride 4 the Animals

                                           We are their voice...

Ride 4 the Animals is a fundraising arm used to benefit Animal Welfare and the Suncoast Animal League . This small, caring shelter is a non-profit, no kill shelter that takes in abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted animals. They are often called to participate in national and local rescues and their ultimate mission is to open a low cost spay and neuter clinic to humanely control our growing animal population.

#1 Sweet Pea rescued by Suncoast, found emaciated in a Palm Harbor home.

#2-3 Abandoned and Looking for a loving home

Please join us on our next ride and help us spread the word of hope. Hope that inhumane puppy mills will all be closed; hope that animal neglect and cruelty will end and hope that animals will no longer need to live in the streets fighting and begging for their next meal.

#1 After Tropical storm Faye hit- Suncoast safely transported 57 animals from Melborne, Fl. to Palm Harbor, Fl.

#2 Tarpon Springs Puppy Mill closed down by Suncoast Animal League 121 lives were saved.

My passion for this organization began at it's inception in 2006. I volunteer at events, fundraisers and speak at schools and to groups about the shelter and kindness to animals.  I love to speak about spay and neuter programs, because this is the core of how we can make a difference in the lives of the animals we help.   As we cycle together, let's spread a word of hope & promise and to ask the community to open their hearts for those who can't ask for help themselves.

#1-2   Nutmeg and her 11 Puppies arrived from a Georgia shelter desperately needing help- Suncoast Animal League stepped in.

#1 Dog rescued from Mississippi Puppy Mill and given a second chance, thanks to Suncoast.

#2  Fawn, Mabel was found in a pond w/ a gator dangerously close by.  She had a fractured ankle and knee and healed at a SAL foster home before returning to the wild.

Ride turned Rescue - While training for the Key West ride, "Sewer Kitty"  a tiny kitten emerged from a sewer.  Flithy Famished and Precious.

It fills my heart and inspires me to know that you care!

As always...Live with Passion,

Laura Pafundi-Hoffman
